Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to the App as installed on a Shopify store and to the website at supra-tabs-accordions.sktch.io. It does not apply to Shopify itself, to your store’s theme, or to any third-party service you separately choose to use. Your use of the App is also governed by our Terms of Service.

2. Who the App is for

The App is a business tool provided to merchants. It is not directed at consumers or children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe such information has been provided to us, contact us and we will delete it.

3. What we access

With the permissions you grant at installation, the App may read and write the following through Shopify’s APIs, solely to provide the App’s functionality:

• Store profile information (store name, domain, plan, contact email, currency).
• Products and collections, including titles, handles, tags, vendors, product types, descriptions and custom fields, so tab content can be resolved and tab sets can be targeted.
• Custom data definitions and entries (metaobjects and metafield definitions), so tab sets can be stored in your store and read by your theme.
• Online store pages and files, where you explicitly select one as the source for a tab.
• Theme files, read-only and limited to detecting whether the App’s block has been added to your product template.

The App does not request, access, store or process customer personal data. It has no customer, order, checkout or payment permissions, and it does not read or write customer records.

4. What we store

We store the minimum needed to operate the App:

• Your store’s domain and basic store profile, installation state and installation history.
• Authentication tokens issued by Shopify, used only to make API calls on your behalf.
• Your tab sets: tab labels, the sources you chose, the content resolved from those sources, targeting rules and appearance settings.
• Ordinary server logs, which may include IP addresses, request paths, timestamps and user-agent strings, kept for security, abuse prevention and debugging.

Your tab sets are also written into your own store as merchant-owned custom data, so the content remains yours and remains available to you independently of the App.

5. What we do not do

• We do not sell, rent or trade any information.
• We do not use your data to train machine-learning models.
• We do not build advertising profiles or share data with advertising networks.
• We do not track individual shoppers, and the App’s storefront code sets no tracking cookies. It may use your visitors’ browser session storage, on their own device only, to remember which tab was last opened, where you enable that option.

6. Service providers

We use a small number of infrastructure providers to run the App, including hosting, database hosting and content delivery. These providers process data only on our instructions and only to the extent required to provide their service. We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, property or safety of any person.

7. International transfers

The App is operated from, and data may be stored and processed in, jurisdictions that may differ from your own, including outside your country of residence. By using the App you consent to such transfer, storage and processing.

8. Retention and deletion

We retain data for as long as the App is installed. When you uninstall the App, Shopify notifies us and we mark your store as uninstalled. Where Shopify sends a shop redaction request, we delete the store record and its tab sets from our systems. Backups and logs may persist for a limited additional period as part of ordinary operations. Custom data already written into your own store remains in your store and is yours to keep or delete.

9. Your choices

You may uninstall the App at any time from your Shopify admin, which revokes its access immediately. You may remove all of your tab sets from within the App at any time. You may request a copy or deletion of the data we hold about your store by contacting us; we will respond within a reasonable period and may need to verify that you control the store.

10. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, including encrypted connections and restricted access. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot and do not guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for controlling access to your Shopify account and staff accounts.

11. Changes

We may change this policy at any time and without notice. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. If you do not agree, uninstall the App.
